"This is probably our first band photo taken in 1979, before we had a name. We decided to call ourselves 'And also the trees' later that year but we have always considered our official formation date as January 12th 1980 when we played live for the first time at The Greig hall in Alcester, Warwickshire. So that makes this year our 35th and although we don't want to make a big deal out of it…to mark the event we have organized a few concerts where we will play a special set of songs drawn from throughout our history, starting at The Garage in London on April 24th and followed by the two shows in Tokyo in May."
